Music Video for Joolmad - ‘Rebel in You’. A mixed media animation featuring frame-by-frame, fast paced, dynamic shots, and illustrated backgrounds. The concept of rebellion in this video draws heavily on nostalgia. The ‘inner rebel’ being closely connected to the inner child, I aimed to evoke that sense of youthful defiance. I created a nostalgic aesthetic using energetic, sketchy frame-by-frame animation, set against dreary backdrops, with crass, hurried and dynamic shots.
